Hi!

What is really annoying in my case the jumping time! Sometimes the System time changes randomly from -/+1 to +/- 8 Hours even with automatic time(I think the system uses GPS for that). I am using the Firmware 19 July 13. Has anyone the same Problem and got a solution for this issue? I hope that is not related to MCU MAR 2013 that I got.
I am currently trying to fix the issue with clocksync. May be it works.

Turn off the RDS (in Radio) in firmware system menu. Turn on update datetime from GPS.

Other issue is the big difference in Volume between the Radio app and the Android Media. Playing Radio is louder than playing songs over the Android Media Stream used by players such as poweramp. The Radio App seems to be a special app that controls directly the sound chip and the Audio of the Radio. It does not use the standard android audio stream.

it's hardware bug, you will need disassemble player and make balance between android and the radio audio line. Is being discussed how best to do it

Another Problem is switching back from reverse Camera display. It redirects me to the Radio (if running in background) instead to the standard android menu that was active before putting in the reverse gear.

I wrote to the seller with a description of the problem, he did not answer to me

I used Tasker to control automatically the Display Brightness in relation with the current Sunset/Sunrise of the present location.
For those who dont know what Tasker is, it is an android automation/script Program to automate tasks and macros. It is similar to Eventghost in Windows.

The macro works like this:

Get actual Location(GPS or hardcoded)
v
v
Calculate Sunset/Sunrise times of the location (the calculation is on Board with javascript so no need for Data Connection to wheather websites to parse the times online)

Compare these times with actual Android System Time.(<<-this is why i needed a stable system time)
v
v
Set Display Brightness to dimmed at night or lighten at day times(the brightness values could be adpated in the macro).
 
The loop is set to 2mins(could be adapted). For instant I am using hardcoded coordinates but it could be simply modified for GPS use (in fact the code is already in the macro but deactivated)

What you need is the Tasker apk (I am using ver 1.3.3u2, it is lightweight and works stable on cusp)
Here is the complete Export of the Profiles and Tasks for the Display control:

I already hardcoded the coordinates of Moscow(55.75 N 37.61 E) in this macro.  

-Unzip the content into the Tasker Folder that you will find after Tasker Installation on /sdcard/Tasker.
-Open Tasker Menu and click on "Data" then Restore.
-You will get 3 Profiles and 4 Tasks.
-Just push the ON/OFF Button on the right side so that Tasker get active and works in background.


Some Remarks:
-You can change the coordinates for your location: Get your coordinates here: http://gpso.de/maps/ in dd.dd Format(yellow rectangle) and put them in the "Sunrise Display Control" Task at line 6, 7 and 14, 15.
-You can change the Display Brightness of the Day/Night mode at lines 9, 10 and 21, 22 of the "Sunrise Display Control" Task.

-IGO:
In the "IGO UND DISP CTRL" Profile check the path of your IGO APK.

I use IGO for Navigation, unfortunately the grafics engine of IGO turns black for a sec when the tasker adjusts the Display Brightness. To avoid this, there is a 3rd Profile "IGO und DISP CTRL" that turns off the Display Control Profile when IGO is on. This avoids the flickering. The Display control reactivates as soon as IGO is closed.
I don't know if Navitel(seems to be popular in Russia as I've read the thread) has the same Problem as IGO? Pls Check this and put the path of your Navitel apk instead of IGO. If there is no problem you can simply deactivate or delete the "IGO und DISP CTRL" Profile.

I am working now for an automatic volume adjustment depending on the speed of the car based on GPS-Speed. Unfortunatly the cusp Radio has no connection for the speed signal wire that comes from the car.
My initial macro already works fine, the problem is that I can't control the general volume of the Cusp Volume Control App cause it seems to be a proprietary driver. The only volume that I can control at the moment is the Android Media Stream Volume (=poweramp own Volume). But I will find a solution for this. If I can control the General Volume then it will be easy to also adapt the gap between the louder volume of the radio app compared to the Android Media Stream Volume.

Хорошо.. надо почитать на обеде тему) КОсяки КАСПа то я нашел.. А вот S150 пока знаю, что русский язык из коробки не доступен и плохая помехозащищенность радио. Что собсно проблемами не является.

Просьба к владельцам КАСПа. Не могли бы вы кое-что проверить на своих устройствах?
такой вот алгоритм:  включаем устройство, ждем пока загрузится, затем нажимаем на АУКС иконку (с тремя штекерами), ждем пока появится надпись "NO AUX INPUT" (при условии что у вас ничего не подключено к этим входам), потом устройство возвращается в главное меню обратно, затем открываем стандартный аудио плеер, включаем любую песню, затем нажимаем паузу и быстро делаем громкость на максимум, и ждем каких либо звуков на протяжении 1-10 секунд после нажатия на паузу. Проверьте пожалуйста, есть ли у вас посторонние звуки после такой процедуры?? ничего ли не бахкает и не пукает в динамиках?
Добавлено позже: Ноябрь 22, 2013, 18:17:54 pmперепаял я себе резисторы R72 и R100 на плате, были на 22кOм, а я поставил на 19кОм, звук с андроида стал немного громче, почти как у радио стал, выходит что на меньшей громкости регулятора, андроид громче играет и не так слышны шумы на фоне, типа работающего радио или всяких наводок.

И теперь на малой громкости высокие душит тонкомпенсация...
А почему не убрать радио?... Там запас по громкости как по-мне достаточный....

На данный момент насколько я понимаю имеют место быть проблемы:
1. Периодическим не включением гу.
2. Разница в громкости между андроидом и радио, как мне кажется завышена громкость радио поэтому даже если выкрутить громкость радио на минимум оно все равно играет громко.
3. Проблема сворачивания программы после выключения камеры заднего вида и постоянно всплывающее радио.
4. Когда идет звонок через гу при нажатии ответить почему-то вплывает радио. Приходится заново запускать звонилку на гу.

это похоже имеет место быть на ГУ с новой прошивкой MCU...
у меня ни на одной прошивке такое замечено не было...

звонилку на ГУ вообще не запускаю на ГУ, настроил кнопки на руле на ответ телефона и всё...
при входящем звонке, и без запущенной звонилки, звонок проходит, нажимаю кнопку ответить и говорю... всё управление идёт через MCU...
мне так удобнее и ничего не мешает...

Для меня единственный косяк это радио
